چکیده

In this study, a thermosensitive in situ gel nanoemulsion was formulated by low energy method for intranasal delivery of temozolomide to bypass the blood-brain barrier and optimize chemotherapy glioblastoma. Various amounts Labrasol, Transcutol®P, Triacetin were chosen as components based on solubility partial pseudoternary phase diagrams studies. Poloxamer derivatives added selected gelling temperature optimized. The prepared containing showed mean droplet size 16.25 ± 0.44 nm , polydispersity index value id="M2"> 0.35 0.01 desirable pH viscosity. vitro release studies revealed that both preparation have sustained pattern comparison control solution. Visual evaluation measurements stable during heating-cooling freeze-thaw cycles also centrifugation. Mucoadhesion percentage id="M3"> 37.037 2.32 regarding ex vivo studies, which had significant rise solution nanoemulsion. Permeation across nasal mucosa 1.43- 1.52-fold higher than nanoemulsion, respectively. Gamma scintigraphy study brain accumulation developed formulations. Our demonstrated optimized formulation has suitable physicochemical properties, profile, enhanced permeation mucosa, prolonged resistance time at mucosa. Therefore, would be an effective novel system treatment

Designing of a Thermosensitive Chitosan/Poloxamer In Situ Gel for Ocular Delivery of Ciprofloxacin

To increase the low bioavailability and short ocular residence time of ciprofloxacin eye drops, aqueous solutions of drug in chitosan/ Pluronic (poloxamer) were prepared to identify suitable compositions with regard to gel forming properties and drug release behavior. Mixtures of solutions of Pluronic (10-25% w/w) with chitosan (0.1-0.3% w/w) of different molecular weights (Mw) were prepared. C...

Formulation and Evaluation of Thermosensitive Biogels for Nose to Brain Delivery of Doxepin

Thermoreversible biogels can serve as effective systems for delivery of drugs through nose with increased nasal residence time. The objective of this study was to use chitosan and glycerophosphate based thermoreversible systems for delivery of doxepin to brain through intranasal administration. Formulations were prepared by admixture of suitable dilutions of chitosan and glycerophosphate with o...

Nanoemulsion based Intranasal Delivery of Antimigraine Drugs for Nose to Brain Targeting

The objective of this study was to develop intranasal nanoemulsion and gel formulations for rizatriptan benzoate for prolonged action. Nanoemulsion formulations were prepared by constructing pseudo-ternary phase diagrams using lipophilic and hydrophilic surfactants and water. Various mucoadhesive agents were tried out to form thermo-triggered mucoadhesive nanoemulsions. Mucoadhesive gel formula...

In situ delivery of thermosensitive gel-mediated 5-fluorouracil microemulsion for the treatment of colorectal cancer

In situ administration of 5-fluorouracil (5FU) "thermosensitive" gel effectively reduced systemic side effects in treating colon rectal cancer; however, the penetration efficacy of the formulation was considerably low due to the poor lipid solubility of 5FU. The aim of this study was to develop thermosensitive gel-mediated 5FU water-in-oil microemulsion (TG-5FU-ME) for improving the infiltratio...
